June 11-June 15, 2018
Circus Week
Campers will participate in guided workshops to learn stilt-walking, plate-balancing, juggling and other amazing tricks and will be a part of a circus performance on Friday. Face painting, balloons and more will make this event one you won't want to miss!
June 18 -June 22, 2018
ROCK STAR WEEK
Break out your six string, let down your hair, throw on some glitter and animal print and get ready to rock on. This will be a week full of glitz, glam, music and fun.

Greek Week/Olympics
All week our camp groups will be competing in a variety of "Greek Week" events. Events range from water balloon launch competition to toga tug-o-war, and will culminate with our annual Field Day Olympics on Friday!

Red/White/Blue Backyard Games & BBQ
How does Camp Pegnita celebrate Independence Day? With a good old-fashioned BBQ and backyard games day. Campers will enjoy a yummy hot dog lunch, a visit from the snow cone truck, extended swim times, a spectacular obstacle course and fun backyard games like volleyball, washers, relay races, and much much more!

What better way to cool off in a St. Louis heat wave than a week full of water games and slip n' slides!

Wild Wild West Week
Campers will participate in western style games planned by our very own counselors in training. On Friday, our little '49ers will rush the field and camp property to find as many pieces of gold as they can! When they return to the homestead, they will be able to trade in gold pieces for the opportunity to play games and win prizes.
July 23 - July 27, 2018
Pirate Week
This week our campers will sail the seven seas (well, the Camp Pegnita pool) in boats they design from cardboard and duct tape. Each day will have a pirate themed activity such as "Shipwreck" or a treasure hunt and the week will end with a pirate party carnival.
July 30 - August 3, 2018
Legends of the Magic Circle
Campers will learn the history of Camp Pegnita through a series of stories, games, and events. The counselors will put on a play depiciting the latest "legend" of camp early in the week and then the campers will be broken into teams to compete in various tasks. Campers will need to use cooperation skills, thinking skills, and their physical abilities to follow the clues, complete required tasks, and avoid being caught by the temple guards.
August 6 - August 10, 2018
Bonsai
It's always sad when summer comes to an end, but at Camp Pegnita we like to go out with a bang! Bonsai is a Camp Pegnita tradition where kids participate in a super fun, sticky and messy scavenger hunt. Campers search the camp property for hidden counselors and ultimately a coveted flag. Campers need to be on the look out though, because if "floured" by running counselors, campers will be sent to the Magic Circle where staff members will drench them in gooey, but yummy things like chocolate sauce, ice cream, and whipped cream.

Twice a summer we put on a spectacular evening show for all the campers and parents. Each group will perform a song, skit or dance that they have prepared during the week. Afterwards, the counselors and lifeguards will hand out unique and special awards to all of their campers. Who will get the coveted golden arrow this year? You will have to be there to find out. This is sure to be an event you won't want to miss!
